Alison has been working as a Physiotherapist in the Clarence Valley since 2008 having previously worked for the NHS in the north of England. Working as an experienced Senior Physiotherapist she has a specific interest in Women’s health, treatment of the hip, cervicogenic headaches, and neck pain, and providing core stability and functional training for all. Alison has a special interest in clinical Pilates and is skilful at incorporating both Pilates exercise and equipment into her clinical practice. She is interested in treating swimmers and rowers with specific sports-related issues. Alison is experienced in the safe delivery of exercise to patients with arthritis and chronic disease and has been a speaker at both the NSW Arthritis and Fibromyalgia conferences. Her sports experience comes from working with the NSW veterans hockey teams. She enjoys swimming, rowing, and travel in her downtime.
